Rome’s cocktail scene is at its peak, with venues vying to captivate a discerning crowd in search of flawless drinks. At No. 9 Via del Babuino, the Stravinskij Bar at the refined Hotel de Russie — part of Rocco Forte Hotels — sits within the lush embrace of its Secret Garden, unveiling a new cocktail list by Salvatore Calabrese and bar manager Mattia Capezzuoli.
The Cocktails from the Drink List Created by Calabrese

The menu takes its cue from the hotel’s monumental garden and from Igor Stravinsky, the Russian composer and conductor who made Rome his home for three decades, until 1945. Here, music and nature shape a 15-drink collection that reimagines the classics while introducing original creations.
Among them: Red Eclipse, a softened Negroni with vodka, cocoa and a hint of mezcal; Bee Spicy, with tequila, honey and bee pollen; Flora, marrying gin, ginger and red berries; and Garden Symphony, a milk punch variation layered with coffee and pineapple. Moonflare pairs whiskey and bitter almond liqueur with a touch of salted caramel, while Light Blue offers a floral aperitif of gin, citrus and delicate bubbles. Two of Calabrese’s famed signatures — the Breakfast Martini and the Americanello — sit alongside four non-alcoholic serves developed with Capezzuoli’s team.
Garnishes are conceived to complete the flavour as much as the look, supported by a level of service that speaks to the hotel’s international pedigree.
A Fusion Of Music, Mixology and Cuisine at the Stravinskij Bar

A backbar lined with standout spirits works in tandem with the cuisine of chef Fulvio Pierangelini. Every element reinforces Stravinskij Bar as a cornerstone of the Roman cocktail scene, uniting grand-hotel hospitality with a standard of mixology that looks well beyond the city.
