Roma Bar Show 2025, The Strategic Alliance with Fiere di Parma and This Year’s Highlights

If the success of an event is measured by the caliber of its alliances, then Roma Bar Show 2025—set to unfold on May 26–27 at the Palazzo dei Congressi in EUR—marks a turning point. Now in its fifth edition, the show welcomes a pivotal new partner into its shareholding structure: Fiere di Parma. A move that firmly cements its standing as a landmark event for the global beverage industry.

Roma Bar Show 2025 and the Expanding Beverage Landscape

This year’s edition introduces an enhanced format and more ambitious goals. The entry of Fiere di Parma reinforces the fair’s international DNA and opens new pathways for growth. Returning to its home at the Eur’s Palazzo dei Congressi, the show unveils a renewed layout, headlined by the launch of an international Buyers Program and an expanded Educational Program, featuring more than one hundred speakers from across the globe. The Roma Bar Show Awards also grow, introducing new categories that further affirm the capital’s role on the world stage.

A Vision That Reaches Beyond

The event’s momentum is boosted by its strategic partner Ice – Italian Trade Agency. As President Matteo Zoppas explains, “Over the past few years, Italian trade fairs have increasingly sought to broaden their international reach. Roma Bar Show, in synergy with Fiere di Parma, is taking decisive steps to become one of the leading global hubs for the beverage industry.”

The reasons are clear—and so are the numbers. In 2024, Italian spirits exports hit €1.7 billion, a 4.7% rise from the previous year. To support this growth, Ice has invited fifty trade professionals from twelve countries, fostering new commercial ties and nurturing the industry’s most promising sectors. “Our mission is to generate lasting impact for the Italian economy by supporting fast-evolving markets and creating shared value,” adds Zoppas.

Hence this year’s guiding theme: Together we shake—a call to collaborate, to connect, and to grow as one. The 2025 program embraces talks, tastings, masterclasses, “fuori salone” events such as Cocktails & Covers, and the final round of the Roma Bar Show Awards, featuring seven categories including one dedicated to Best Historic Cafés & Bars. The Lifetime Achievement Award returns as well, honoring a legendary industry figure in a symbolic handover ceremony on May 26 at 5:30 PM.

“We’ve taken a long road to bring Fiere di Parma into our board,” shares Andrea Fofi, CEO and co-founder of Roma Bar Show. “It’s been a journey of growth, of timing, of waiting for the right moment—just like a great spirit that matures with patience.” A new chapter, he says, begins here. “Our aim is to promote reciprocity as a driver of both personal development and a good industry—an industry rooted in awareness, environmental responsibility, and social impact. This is just the beginning, and with Fiere di Parma’s support and vision, we’re ready to embrace what’s next.”

Roma Bar Show 2025: Strengthening the Bond with the City

The fair’s connection to the city extends well beyond its two-day format. In partnership with the City of Rome and public transport operator ATAC, Roma Bar Show 2025 is launching a new social initiative: on June 14, a redesigned basketball court will open in the Garbatella neighborhood, created by street artist Camilla Falsini and sponsored by JD Sports. A symbol of renewal and inclusion, this act of urban regeneration adds a social layer to the event’s identity.

“Roma Bar Show is a major event that keeps growing year after year, aligning with our strategy to shift the city’s tourism model,” says Alessandro Onorato, Councillor for Major Events, Sports, Tourism and Fashion. “We want to promote slow tourism tied to food and beverage—a type of travel that draws in visitors seeking meaningful experiences, not just monuments. Bartending also plays a role in educating younger generations about mindful drinking, a theme we’re exploring with a dedicated communication campaign.”

A Thriving Ecosystem

With nearly 200 exhibiting brands, more than 100 international guests, and over 15,000 attendees last year, Roma Bar Show 2025 confirms its status as a key driver in the hospitality world. The renewed patronage of the City of Rome underscores its cultural and strategic value, while the partnership with ATAC—which includes benefits for Metrebus Card holders—deepens its connection to sustainable urban mobility. In short: not to be missed.
