High enough to find the right rhythm, far enough to leave the noise behind. At Milan’s Ceresio7, where the city unfolds below and the cocktail culture looks decidedly upward, Coqtail – for fine drinkers marks its first anniversary and unveils Issue No. 5 of the magazine. The gathering, by invitation only, is scheduled for Monday, June 16th from 6:30 to 8:30pm, featuring a curated drink list by Bar Manager Abi El Attaoui and the soundscapes of Nora Bee.
One Year of Coqtail – for fine drinkers
This time, it’s not just about celebrating a new issue, but entering a different dimension, where drinking becomes a form of attentive listening. “Listening” is, not by chance, the theme of Issue No. 5: a gentle prompt to pay attention. To catch the notes in a spirit, the subtle aromatic layers, the muted sounds of a rooftop at dusk, where aperitivo is savoured with understated elegance. Suspended between rationalist architecture and golden-hour light, Ceresio7 becomes the stage for this intimate celebration.
Abi El Attaoui: The Sound of a Well-Composed Cocktail

Behind the bar at Ceresio7, Abi El Attaoui has composed a menu that captures the voice of Coqtail’s fifth edition. Among the signatures, Negroncello blends Bulldog Gin, Mancino Vermouth, Cordusio Aperitivo, Campari, tarragon and fino sherry. The Expresso Martini twists tradition with Altamura Vodka, Amaro Panorama, sherry, cacao and espresso. Different Paloma reimagines the classic highball with Espolòn Tequila, OF Dorange Bonollo, basil, and grapefruit soda. Soraya #2 leans into smoky tropicals with The Orientalist Spirits’ Dragon 8YO Whisky and Imperial Solera 23 Rum, Wild Turkey Bourbon, espresso, passion fruit, vanilla, and soya whey. Finally, Cedro Tonic offers a breezy sip with Acqua di Cedro Nardini and Indian tonic water.
The Food Pairing: Precision in Every Bite
The culinary pairings come courtesy of Artisia by Barilla, the renowned 3D pasta project. Crafted by chef Elio Sironi, four meticulously structured bites mirror the cocktails they accompany. Petal combines black anchovy, cherry, capers and chimichurri. Cube layers prawn, burrata, marasca cherry and pepper. Wind surprises with eggplant, kimchi and Grana Padano. Salix unites scallop, plum, lime and spring onion. Each dish is designed to echo the drinks—intense, polished, and perfectly attuned.
The Soundtrack to an Aperitivo and a New Issue

To complete the sensory palette, the evening’s soundtrack is curated by Milan-based DJ and producer Nora Bee, also Ceresio7’s Creative Director. Known for her refined fusion of house, disco, and funk, Nora Bee has become a fixture of the city’s nightlife, collaborating with fashion and design houses alike. Her hypnotic grooves and deep rapport with the dancefloor set the ideal tone for an elevated open-air listening bar.
Additionally, for this “listening” issue, DJ Marco Tavernese has created an exclusive Coqtail playlist, available to stream on Spotify.
The Night’s Partners: An Orchestra of Spirits
Supporting the event is a selection of brands that share Coqtail’s meticulous approach to quality: Acqua di Cedro, Altamura Distilleries, Amaro Panorama, Artisia by Barilla, Bonollo 1908, Bulldog Gin, Cordusio Aperitivo, Espolòn Tequila, Mancino Vermouth, The Orientalist Spirits, and Wild Turkey Bourbon. Each label becomes part of a larger narrative, where technique and pleasure meet and drinking culture finds elegant expression.
Milan, Cocktails, and One year of Coqtail – for fine drinkers
For its first year, Coqtail – for fine drinkers takes a moment to celebrate—not just through exclusive interviews, stunning visuals and long-form features, but through gatherings like this one. An event where the right people meet in the right place at exactly the right time. Issue No. 5 is ready to be read. But more than that, it’s meant to be experienced—live, with a perfectly crafted drink in hand and the right soundtrack in the air.
