Sunset Cocktails and Vinyl Vibes: Coqtail – for fine drinkers Brings Its Summer Edition to the Amalfi Coast

On July 22, from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm, the Hotel Club Due Torri becomes the place to pause, sip and listen. Poolside cocktails, carefully selected vinyl records spinning in the background, and lively conversations unfolding beneath a coastal sunset set the scene for the latest chapter of Listening, the fifth issue of Coqtail – for fine drinkers.

For the second time on the Amalfi Coast—and for the first time in Maiori—Coqtail presents its summer edition with an exclusive event curated together with Cinquanta con Vista, the seaside spin-off of Cinquanta – Spirito Italiano, the format that brings the best of Italian bar culture right to the water’s edge.

A Poolside Gathering on the Amalfi Coast: Cocktails, Music, and the Art of Summer Living

Picture this: the Amalfi Coast at golden hour, a luxury hotel pool shimmering against the sea, and an aperitivo designed for connoisseurs. The formula? Bespoke cocktails, elegantly crafted dishes, and a sunset setting that needs no filter. That’s the essence of the Coqtail – for fine drinkers pool party.

The evening kicks off at 7:30 pm with the first cocktails of the night, paired with finger food prepared by the Hotel Club Due Torri exclusively for the occasion. A brief presentation follows, introducing the summer issue of Coqtail and the event’s partners. From there, the night flows effortlessly until 11:00 pm, with guests gathering around the Cinquanta con Vista bar. Signature drinks created for the event take center stage, alongside a risotto course and a curated soundtrack of laid-back grooves that weave through the evening.

The Signature Cocktails of Cinquanta con Vista

Behind every glass are Natale Palmieri and Alfonso Califano, co-founders of Cinquanta – Spirito Italiano and creators of the Cinquanta con Vista project. They have crafted a lineup of original cocktails for the party, each with its own story to tell.

There’s the Sbagliatissimo, a playful twist with Amaro Nazionale, Strucchi Bitter, fino sherry, and Kinley Tonic Water. The Lomon’ + Lemon blends Limoncello Nazionale with Kinley Lemon Taste and a hint of absinthe. The Mule Path mixes Limoncello Nazionale, Strucchi Bitter Bianco, chocolate bitters, and Kinley Ginger Beer, while the Nazionale combines Amaro Nazionale with Belize rum liqueur and Kinley Ginger Ale. Each sip captures a different shade of the Italian aperitivo.

Coqtail – for fine drinkers On Tour

The Amalfi Coast is just the latest stop on Coqtail’s tour of Italy’s finest hotels and cocktail bars. Over the past year, Coqtail – for fine drinkers has traveled across the country, meeting its readers and community of mixology enthusiasts face to face. From Milan to Venice, Rome to Lecce, Naples to Amalfi—just to name a few—the journey continues.

This summer, Coqtail has already touched down at Ceresio7 in Milan and Alto Rooftop in Cervia. Now it’s Maiori’s turn, with Cinquanta con Vista at the Hotel Due Torri setting the scene. The focus of these summer stops? Listening bars—the cities where they were born and the new places embracing them today. It’s a journey into mixology where sound and social ritual intertwine, magnified by the presence of prestigious brand partners.
