Coqtail Lands in Taipei: A Night with Camparino at M.O. Bar

Autumn in Taiwan takes on an Italian accent. On October 12, inside the elegant Mandarin Oriental, Taipei, M.O. Bar will become a meeting point between two worlds: Camparino, with its century-old Milanese legacy, and Coqtail – for fine drinkers, unveiling Secret, the magazine’s sixth issue. Behind and in front of the bar, two teams will share the stage for an evening that bridges local creativity with global mixology.

A Private Event at Mandarin Oriental Taipei

Mandarin Oriental, Taipei is home to 303 rooms and suites, four restaurants, one bar and a patisserie, and has earned its place among the city’s refined destinations. On the fifth floor, M.O. Bar’s Art Deco interiors, sculptural central counter and two private rooms create a setting where conversations flow as smoothly as the drinks. Its menu mixes signature cocktails, champagne and wine with light dining options that extend into the night. Here, on Sunday, October 12, the atmosphere of the Italian aperitivo will take center stage, in collaboration with Camparino and with Coqtail as media partner.

An Afternoon Event for the Industry

The evening unfolds in two chapters. From 4 to 6 PM, an invite-only presentation marks the launch of Coqtail’s latest issue, featuring drinks by bar manager Joaquim Gubau Fustero and Camparino in Galleria, the Italiano house of the aperitivo.

The Milano Hour

From 6 to 9 PM, the event opens to the public with The Milano Hour. Jeff Lai, presents A Night in Shilin—a blend of genmaicha-infused gin, Campari, red vermouth, kumquat and cream cheese. Amaterasu builds balance through sesame-tofu foam, tequila, hojicha tea, Campari and a mango-raspberry shrub, while Rosso Cacao rounds off the series with Campari, tea and cacao cordial, and soda.

Camparino in Galleria brings four Milan-born creations to Asia. Compadre combines Montelobos Mezcal Espadín, Campari, Vermouth Del Professore Rosso, chinotto liqueur, agave syrup and a touch of Angostura for a smoky-citrus interplay. Bitter Paloma, the official cocktail of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, layers tequila, Campari, Vermouth Del Professore Bianco, agave syrup and lime juice, lifted by a floral soda. Red Carpet blends Campari, Courvoisier VS cognac, Vermouth Del Professore Rosso, bitters and hazelnut liqueur—bold and direct with a gently bitter finish. Lastly, the CCC Negroni – Coco, Cocoa, Coffee reimagines the Milanese classic with Campari, coconut liqueur, chocolate bitters, Del Professore Rosso and coffee-infused gin.
