London Cocktail Week 2025: Eleven Days of Events

Now in its sixteenth year, London Cocktail Week 2025 returns from 9 to 19 October with an eleven day celebration across more than two hundred participating bars. The festival brings back trusted fixtures on the calendar and adds two fresh highlights that make a strong case for raising a glass to the new edition.

London Cocktail Week 2025: What’s New

Let’s begin with the debuts for this edition, given the success of last year. The first is called Tiny Cocktails and rides a rising movement of reduced-portion drinks. Prices start at £6, which makes it easy to taste a wider range of cocktails while keeping alcohol intake in check.

The second new feature of LCW25 is Home Grown, shorthand for a farm-to-glass approach. The idea is simple and clear: cocktails that champion fresh, local, seasonal produce, ideally grown on site or sourced from gardens and farms as close as possible to the venue.

The Return of the Classics

Alongside Tiny Cocktails and Home Grown come two programmes that have earned their place over the years. Curated Cocktail Tours stretch across more than two hundred participating bars, each offering a tailored menu. Guests find a house signature served at a special price of £9, alcohol-free options at £6 and Champagne cocktails at £12. Connoisseur Collection charts a route through some of the capital’s most prestigious counters, with rare tastings of vintage spirits and pairings that venture beyond the usual playbook.

Cocktails Create Authentic Bonds

For LCW25, founders Hannah Sharman-Cox and Siobhán Payne handed the floor to Justine Simons for the official statement. A long-standing figure in London public life, she holds a leading role in the capital’s cultural policy.

“Cocktails bring together art, technical skill and imagination,” said Simons. “They have the power to define, or even redefine, a moment. The alchemy of a great night often begins with a cocktail, which is why London Cocktail Week matters so much. In our time, when we are so digitally connected and more alone than ever, events like this bring people together and spark authentic human bonds.”

The event began in 2010, Simons recalled, and “today it stands as the leading cocktail festival of its kind anywhere, with more than two hundred bars involved. It has become a model for hundreds of other cities, a brilliant London innovation shared around the world.”
