In July 2014 the first passengers boarded a plane fitted solely with business class seats and lifted off from Newark toward Paris. An aircraft that might otherwise carry more than two hundred passengers here holds little more than seventy, giving each traveler room to stretch out, to work without distraction, to stand and move without crowding.
