That gap is about to be filled—elegantly—by the Barcelona Hotel Bar Week (BHBW), running from 22 to 28 September 2025. A full seven days in which the Catalan capital will shine a spotlight on the city’s most compelling hotel bar experiences.
Barcelona Hotel Bar Week 2025: Shaking Up the Scene
A fresh idea only works if backed by solid numbers—and BHBW delivers. The debut edition brings together 22 hotel bars over 7 days, featuring exclusive cocktail menus (at friendly prices), a full calendar of events, seminars, masterclasses, product launches, international guests, and programming that stretches from sunup to long after sundown.
“Barcelona Hotel Bar Week is an invitation to discover and experience hotel bars as accessible, vibrant spaces full of possibility—where mixology, culture, and hospitality are open to all,” says Bianca Grisolia, founder and director of the event.
Where Cocktails Meet Cuisine and Culture
Beyond championing hotel bars, BHBW aims to deepen the connection between cocktails, cuisine, and culture. Food pairings won’t be an afterthought—they’re central to the experience. Expect brunches, dinners, and tapas menus designed to complement the featured drinks. In some cases, spirits themselves will play a starring role in the dishes, turning cocktails into ingredients as well as accompaniments.
And then there’s the cultural program. Art exhibitions, guided tours, literary events, and talks will animate the hotels themselves, showcasing their potential as cultural venues—not just places to sleep or sip, but to engage and be inspired. BHBW is out to redefine what these spaces can offer.
Barcelona Hotel Bar Week: a Curated Cocktail Offering
Each participating bar will craft a bespoke menu for BHBW, featuring at least two drinks priced at €12: a signature alcoholic cocktail and one low-ABV or non-alcoholic option. Beyond those, bartenders are free to let their creativity flow, and an exciting lineup of guest shifts promises plenty of surprises across the city.
Passes and Passports
BHBW is open to everyone, but access to events requires an official pass, available through the event’s website, social channels, and via Eventbrite. The pass unlocks the full week’s program—including the closing party.
Then there’s the BHBW Passport, a charmingly analog keepsake handed out on your first hotel bar visit. With each stop, you collect a stamp and log your tasting journey—a memento of drinks savored and places discovered.
