It’s a milestone year for Athens Bar Show 2025, marking fifteen years since the event first brought together the world’s best bartenders to celebrate quality drinking. Surrounding the main exhibition, Athens Bar Week once again transforms the city into a vibrant stage for guest shifts, pop-ups, and special events.
Athens Bar Show 2025: A Special Edition

The 2025 edition takes place in Gazi, not far from the Acropolis, at Technopolis—the industrial museum that has been a cultural hub of Athens since its opening in 1999. The vast venue is ideal for hosting dozens of exhibitors and thousands of visitors. In 2024, more than 17,000 guests from across the globe gathered there for the show.
The story began fifteen years ago with Babis Kaidalidis, when the event was still called The Bar Academy Show and took place at the Metropolitan Expo. The first edition featured just nine exhibitors and around a thousand visitors. Over the years, those numbers have grown exponentially, hitting major milestones: over 50 exhibitors in 2017 and more than 10,000 visitors by 2019.
An Evolving Format

Despite its growth, Athens Bar Show has stayed true to its founding principles: discovery, education, and networking. Its central theme remains unchanged—an emphasis on quality drinking, responsible service, and the pursuit of new trends.
For Athens Bar Show 2025, the event will take place on November 4 and 5 at Technopolis, with a closing party on November 6 at the same venue. The lineup includes more than 80 seminars and dozens of national and international speakers, alongside tastings, product launches, and close encounters with professionals who bring the industry to life every day.
Athens Bar Week 2025

Running alongside the show, Athens Bar Week (November 2–6, 2025) offers a unique opportunity to experience the city’s best cocktail bars. With a hundred events, countless guest bartenders, and a flood of creative cocktails, the week is packed with opportunities for learning and connection. The opening party of Athens Bar Show will be held at Kentro Athinon on the evening of November 3, featuring a live performance by Nikos Apergis.
