The first edition of the Sardinia Cocktail Festival is ready for its official debut. From Saturday 29 November to Monday 1 December, the city of Cagliari will host a programme of events designed to spotlight Sardinian products within the international mixology landscape. Tastings, guest shifts, talks, masterclasses and industry meetings are all on the agenda. Among the speakers is Chiara Degl’Innocenti, co-founder of Coqtail, who will take part in a panel moderated by Giulia Salis and dedicated to communication strategies for bartenders.
Sardinia Cocktail Festival 2025, the first edition
The Sardinia Cocktail Festival is part of a wider initiative promoted by Confcommercio Sardegna with the support of the Region. The project, called Sa Mesa Nostra, focuses on enhancing Sardinia’s agri-food supply chains. Within this framework, the Festival brings centre stage spirits, liqueurs and agri-food products (PDO, PGI, organic) that have a natural affinity with mixology. The goal is to encourage meetings between producers and the bar world, build new synergies and open up fresh opportunities for collaboration.
Where the event takes place

The core of the Festival will be at Sa Manifattura, in viale Regina Margherita 33 in Cagliari. On 30 November and 1 December, from 10 AM to 6 PM, the venue will host a schedule of masterclasses, themed talks, tastings and presentations of Sardinian products. On 1 December at 4 PM, Chiara Degl’Innocenti will speak on behalf of Coqtail. Over the two days, different bar stations will welcome bartenders based in Cagliari (on 30 November) and Sardinian bartenders working either on the island or abroad (on 1 December).
Spiriti autentici – Sardinia Cocktail Festival in the city

Alongside the main event at Sa Manifattura (30 November – 1 December), a parallel programme will involve the entire city of Cagliari. This citywide format is called Spiriti autentici – Sardinia Cocktail Festival in città and runs from 29 November to 1 December, from 18:00 to midnight.
A number of local cocktail bars will take part, showcasing their resident bartenders and hosting guest shifts featuring Sardinian mixologists working both in Sardinia and elsewhere. Among the guest names joining the island professionals are Federico Pavan of The Donovan Bar in London, Federico Pasian of Master Fermenter, Antonio Ferrara of The Bar at Aman Venice, and Peppe Doria of Volare in Bologna.
Each participating venue will present a signature drink created with products from the companies attending the Festival at Sa Manifattura. The idea is to build a diffuse route across the city, dedicated to Sardinia’s distinctive flavours and to the creativity of the bartenders.
